2) Clothes Dryers: For the most part, you're going to get a washer and a bunch of clothes pins so that you can hang your duds on the balcony. Yes, your clothes will likely dry very stiff, but they'll smell like the ocean and if you chip in for a bottle of Febreeze, they'll smell like that too.
3) Chopsticks: The chopsticks in Korea are thin and made of metal. They�re easy to clean, cheaper to buy than forks, and I haven�t seen it done, but apparently they�re easier to kill with than wooden chopsticks.
4) Parking: On Geoje-do, there is no such thing as 'a place you cannot park,' and while that is COMPLETELY untrue, it is true that you will discover Koreans on this island park just about anywhere. The reason: Korean architects in their infinite wisdom never considered parking garages or underground parkades as a viable option for this part of the country (and I'm assuming they have a very high water table anyway), resulting in a lot of double parking and bumps/scrapes that occur due to the insanely small size of designated parking spaces. C'est la vie, say the old folks...
